First Steering Committee Meeting

On October 31st, the first meeting of the MOBILISE Steering Committee was held online under the chairing of Dr Diederik de Boer, Director of the MSM Expert Centre on Emerging Economies. The steering committee is the highest governance body of the project and its purpose is to provide strategic leadership, orientation, and policy guidance to the Project Management Team & Project Director.

The Committee is composed by a mix of stakeholders representing the EU, Dutch government, education and research from all the involved countries and the horticulture private sector from the Netherlands.

The committee members praised the results achieved by the project in the first 5 months of implementation and provided useful recommendations for the next steps ahead.

The committee meets twice a year and the next meeting is expected in March 2024.
