On 20–21 June 2025, the Higher Agronomic Institute of Chott-Mériem (ISACM) hosted an intensive entrepreneurship workshop as part of the pre-departure program of the MOBILISE project. The training targeted the new intake of 15 Tunisian participants who are set to begin their three-month mobility program in the Netherlands at the end of June.
Led by eco-entrepreneurship expert Hela Talhaoui, the workshop focused on fostering an entrepreneurial mindset and equipping participants with practical tools to identify and develop sustainable business ideas. Through interactive sessions inspired by Design Thinking, participants explored methods such as problem-solution mapping, empathy mapping, and the Green Business Model Canvas. These tools helped them analyze agricultural challenges, generate innovative solutions, and design preliminary business models.
During the two-day training, the participants developed a Personal Learning and Ideation Plan, designed to guide their observations and learning goals during their stay in the Netherlands. Project ideas emerging from the workshop included eco-farms, bio-insect production, valorization of medicinal and aromatic plants, and agro-tourism initiatives.
The participants highlighted the relevance of the training, which provided not only technical and entrepreneurial insights but also enhanced key soft skills such as teamwork, decision-making, and communication. As a core element of the MOBILISE pre-departure program, this workshop sets the foundation for participants to transform their initial ideas into impactful green ventures upon their return.
